What is it?
An automated recycling station that collects aluminum cans and bottles for easy collection.
How does it work?
You can recycle cans by downloading the Resin App and signing up with your oakton.edu email address. Once you create your account, the app will give you a code to scan that unlocks the door. Just drop in your cans, and funds will be added to your account.
Want to make a bigger impact? You can also create or join a fundraising group in the app to recycle and raise money as a team!

How It Works
Scan To Open
Open your Resin App and scan the QR code to unlock the door.
Download the app if you don’t have it and create your account using your oakton.edu email.
Drop Off Cans
Drop off your aluminum cans into the recycling drawer. Please, no plastic bags! It tangles the equipment.
Earn Money
You can keep earnings for yourself or donate to your favorite cause. Encourage your group to sign up so others can fundraise too!
